Repkon and Repkon Defence will participate in the World Defense Show (WDS) to be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on 04 – 08 February 2024.
Repkon and Repkon Defence, which will host their visitors at booth C5 in Hall 1, and hold various meetings within the scope of the fair.
At WDS 2024, which will be the second edition and will last for 5 days, the companies will exhibit their barrel machine, flowforming machine, hot swaging machine / 5.56mm, 7.62mm, 9mm, 12.7mm barrel, MK81, MK82, MK83, MK84 series, 40mm barrel, rocket engine bodies, 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher, 40mm Drum Grenade Launcher, 37/38mm Drum Gas Grenade Launcher.
World Defense Show (WDS)
Organized by the General Directorate of Military Industry of Saudi Arabia (GAMI), the WDS held under the auspices of King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.
WDS aims to be an important platform for networking, cooperation, experience sharing and innovation in all areas of the global defense industry.
At WDS, which will last for 5 days, defense companies will exhibit their products in an area of 800,000 m2 consisting of three large exhibition halls and open-air exhibition areas.
WDS offers a dedicated platform for breakthroughs in defense technology, where entrepreneurs and manufacturers can showcase their transformative concepts and technologies to the global defense industry. R&D services are also offered in the Innovation area within the center. In addition, topics such as advances in defense technology, changing security threats and the impact of innovative start-ups will be discussed in panels. On the other hand, a series of events will be hosted with financing presentations and an investor program. Investors, companies and firms will be offered business development opportunities and will be able to make relevant connections.
WDS 2022
WDS was held for the first time in 2022. More than 600 companies from more than 40 countries participated in WDS in 2022, and more than 65 thousand people visited the fair. At the fair, which was visited by more than 100 international delegations, it was announced that the value of the defense agreements signed was 29.7 billion Saudi Riyals (7.9 billion US Dollars).
