Pavo Group, which operates in the fields of telecommunications, avionics systems, information security, aviation, and defense of the Turkish defense industry sector, held various meetings in the East African country of Uganda.
Pavo Group Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Alper Özbilen and the accompanying delegation visited the Ugandan state-owned National Enterprise Corporation (NEC). Within the scope of the visit, issues related to the memorandum of understanding signed between NEC and Pavo Group at IDEF'23 were discussed. During the meeting, critical infrastructures to be worked on, electro-optics and network security issues were evaluated.
The meeting was 'productive' for both sides
In the statement made by NEC and the Ugandan Embassy, it was stated that the cooperation was particularized with the visit of the Pavo Group delegation to NEC, which was in Uganda within the scope of the East Africa Investment Forum & Trade Exhibition.
Accordingly, the topics related to the memorandum of understanding, especially data center and communication issues, were discussed and the relationship established between the two parties on paper was clarified. Pavo Group emphasized that this cooperation meeting in Uganda, an important country in East Africa, was extremely positive and productive for both sides.
In addition to being defined as an organization that serves as the commercial arm of the Ugandan Ministry of Defense and the Uganda Defense Forces, NEC is known as an important agent in defense trade and activities.
