At the 54th Paris Air Show, Thales is presenting a wide range of solutions, including "Collaborative Combat" and satellite communication, command and reconnaissance systems, airport security systems, the cockpit of the future, airspace surveillance and defense technologies such as Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training solutions.
Under the motto "Seeing the Unseen", Thales Germany will showcase its GO20 MM on the outdoor display of pavilion no. B1. The GO20 MM is a ground-based multi-mission radar that provides seamless three-dimensional (3D) 360° surveillance of the entire threat spectrum from drones and helicopters in lower airspace to ground troops and armed vehicles on the ground - all threats are simultaneously detected, tracked and automatically classified in a single mode.
The GO20 MM gains critical seconds in counter-UAV applications: with its extensive detection range, drones can be detected early, before they pose a threat, enabling effective counter action.
The unique combination of 360° coverage with a rapid update rate of ground and lower airspace, all in a compact device, offers exceptional protection capabilities. It can protect soldiers in the field, in camps, on military bases or at critical facilities both domestically and internationally. The GO20 MM's compact size and modular design make it easy to transport and quick to deploy. Two people can set up and take down the radar in less than five minutes. With its six-pack battery, the GO20 MM provides up to five hours of uninterrupted situational awareness for deployed forces, ensuring a high level of protection.
