Chinese defense company OASI (Optimal Aerospace Science and Industry Group), which conducts part of its operations in the UAE, took part in Istanbul's Saha Expo 2024, displaying their latest high-performance UAVs. In an exclusive interview, Marketing Manager Bella Yang highlighted the company’s expansion in the Middle East, stating, “In China, we face significant export challenges, which led us to establish an independent company in Abu Dhabi. We are also constructing a new factory in the UAE.”
Among OASI’s standout products at the expo were the "Daxiong" and "Dazhuang" UAVs. The "Daxiong" is a medium-sized universal plateau unmanned helicopter, designed with a dual-rotor layout optimized for both high and low altitudes. Its modular design allows for easy maintenance, and its structure includes composite materials and aviation-grade alloys, ensuring corrosion resistance and durability. The helicopter is powered by the Austrian Rotax 915 aviation engine, renowned for its turbocharged plateau performance and reliability, making it suitable for both civilian and select military uses.
OASI’s "Dazhuang" UAV, a six-rotor model powered by an oil-based direct drive, showcases advanced features such as enhanced load capacity and extended flight time, surpassing the limitations of electric multi-rotor UAVs. This product, a unique development in China, has led to numerous technological patents and is considered a breakthrough in oil-powered UAVs, combining high safety with ease of operation and maintenance.
With these innovative UAV solutions, OASI has made a strong impression at Saha Expo, demonstrating its commitment to advancing UAV technology on a global scale.
