In an interview with Defensehere.com Magdalena Protejko Malicka, the Director of Sales at Motorola Solutions, presented their products and solutions at MSPO 2024.
Mrs. Malicka stated that although Motorola is known for its radio communication systems, they have also proven themselves with video solutions. She stated that video solutions range from video optical cameras to long-range thermal cameras.
She went on to introduce their newest product, the MXP 660 Radio. She said that the radio, which she emphasized is in Tetra technology standards, can work with a Wi-Fi connection even when it is out of the tetra area and that secure communication can be provided no matter which system it is used with.
Referring to the long-range thermal systems produced by the company called Silent Sentinel, which they have just acquired, Mrs. Malicka stated that thanks to this product, living and inanimate things with a range of 20-30 km can be viewed day and night.
Finally, she stated that there are very long range radio solutions and emphasized on Barrett Communications products, which is also acquired by Motorola and produce radio solutions in the very long range HF frequency.
