Sea Machines highlights global projects and USV innovations at ADAS Philippines

At ADAS 2024 in the Philippines, Sea Machines, a leading company specializing in autonomous vessel control systems, showcased its advanced solutions for both commercial and military use. Phil Bourque, Vice President of Global Sales at Sea Machines, spoke with *Defensehere.com* about the company’s presence at the event and their ongoing projects.

Bourque emphasized the company’s expertise in providing autonomous systems not only for vessels built by other manufacturers but also their own line of unmanned surface vessels (USVs). "We serve both sectors," he stated, highlighting that Sea Machines’ technology is currently being used in various industries worldwide, including logistics, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), as well as survey operations.

The Boston-based company has a global reach, converting and supplying USVs for a wide range of applications. These projects, according to Bourque, include commercial initiatives and government programs that require autonomous vessel capabilities. "We’re here to support the Philippine Navy and Coast Guard," Bourque said, addressing the growing demand for modern maritime solutions in the region.

He added, "There is a need to bring these products to the market, and we are here to showcase our technology, provide ideas, and demonstrate how Sea Machines can help meet those needs."

With the increasing importance of maritime security and efficiency, Sea Machines aims to contribute to the Philippines' evolving naval and coast guard capabilities by offering innovative autonomous solutions.
