In an interview with Defensehere.com Mr. Hideki Fukawa, Director at the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Agency (ATLA) of the Japanese Ministry of Defense, talked about the first-time participation of Japanese government to ADAS.
Mr. Hideki Fukawa said that it is the first time they’re displaying their products and technology with the aim to contribute to the defense capability of the Philippines.
He said that they were present at the fair with 20 Japanese companies that demonstrated cybersecurity, maritime domain awareness and air domain awareness.
He emphasized the national security strategy they set two years ago, which includes enhancement of information security, missile defense capability and unmanned assets.
Finally, he expressed his wish for cooperation between Japan and Türkiye in the fields of defense and security.
