Flag carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) and Türksat on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at delivering unlimited, uninterrupted, and faster internet connections on THY flights.
The agreement was formally executed by Türksat's General Manager, Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, THY's Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Ahmet Bolat, and THY's General Manager, Bilal Ekşi, during the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK.
TCI Aircraft Interiors, a certified aviation products provider and subsidiary of THY's Turkish Technic, was also represented at the signing ceremony.
As per the agreement, passengers will enjoy free-of-charge and unlimited internet access during flights, with THY expanding its in-flight connectivity (IFC) systems across its entire aircraft fleet by the end of 2025.
