Developed by Meteksan Defence, the KAPAN Drone Defense System provides complete protection against mini/micro UAV threats.
Developed for security forces to combat drone threats, KAPAN offers superior drone detection, tracking and neutralization performance for border and critical facility security with its high-tech drone detection radar, electro-optical and jammer subsystems. The target drone, which is detected and tracked by the radar system, is identified by thermal/daytime cameras and more precise positioning and tracking is then carried out. The direction and location information of the target drone provided by the sensors is transferred to the RF jammer to neutralize the drone.

Radar Systems stand out as the most effective solution for detecting drones, which have become a current and asymmetric threat in critical facility and border security applications. Acting from this point of view, Meteksan Defence developed the KAPAN system using its own resources and launched it in 2018. At IDEF 2021, the KAPAN system was presented with its subsystems and command and control software, which have significantly improved its performance.
