VIPULSE Technology KFT, a Hungary-based electronics manufacturer and system integration partner, participated in the Forbes Hungary “Magyarország 2036” conference in Budapest, where business and industry leaders discussed Hungary’s economic, industrial and business environment over the next decade.
The event, held on Sept. 10 at the Europa Event Center, focused on Hungary’s future economic and industrial development.
Representing VIPULSE Technology were CEO Beyazit Birkan Oruz and his colleague Filipp Banki. In a LinkedIn post following the conference, Oruz said the discussions were particularly relevant to VIPULSE as the company develops its long-term investment strategy in Hungary.
Oruz said VIPULSE’s ambition goes beyond expanding its manufacturing operations in Nagykőrös, where the company is developing its industrial presence. The company aims to gradually transform its infrastructure into a broader technology and advanced manufacturing platform bringing together manufacturing, engineering, technology development and research and development.
A key moment during the conference was Oruz’s meeting with István Kapitány, Hungary’s Minister for National Economy and Energy, during which he introduced VIPULSE’s investment in Nagykőrös, its current activities and its longer-term plans in Hungary.
Oruz said the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss both what VIPULSE is building today and the company’s ambitions for the years ahead.
The CEO also highlighted discussions with members of Hungary’s business community, saying that developing strong industrial capabilities must go hand in hand with building local relationships and becoming part of the country’s wider business and technology ecosystem.
“For VIPULSE Technology KFT, Hungary is not a short-term investment destination,” Oruz said in his post. He added that the company wants to manufacture, develop engineering capabilities and technology, and create highly skilled employment in Hungary while contributing to the country’s industrial and technological development.
VIPULSE Technology KFT is pursuing a broader technology and advanced manufacturing model in Hungary, with its operations bringing together manufacturing and engineering capabilities. The company’s long-term investment strategy is focused on building local capabilities and establishing stronger connections with the wider European industrial ecosystem.
Reflecting on the conference’s focus on Hungary in 2036, Oruz said VIPULSE is asking a similar question about its own future: what can the company build in Hungary over the next decade, and how can it contribute to the country’s industrial and technological future?
He said the company still has significant work ahead, but that the right partnerships, people and long-term vision can help create lasting value in Hungary.
