Defense giants Thales and Schiebel have demonstrated various Uncrewed Air Systems (UAS) to representatives from the British Army and the Royal Navy during an exclusive live demonstration, Thales announced on Thursday.
The demonstration included the first UK flight of the Schiebel S-300. The aircraft was equipped with advanced sensors, autonomy, and mission systems designed to deliver capability across land and maritime environments.
Throughout the week, Thales showcased technologies relevant to the Royal Navy’s development of uncrewed aviation through programs such as Peregrine, as well as the British Army’s Land Autonomous Collaborative Platform (Land ACP).
