Russia’s defense conglomerate Rostec will showcase the export version of the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter, equipped with a new weapon system, at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt.
The aircraft will take part in the airshow’s flight program, where it is expected to demonstrate advanced aerobatic maneuvers. According to Rostec, the new weapon has not previously been displayed either in Russia or abroad.
“New modifications of the fighter are becoming even more effective and dangerous. In Egypt, we are presenting the export version with completely new weapons, which are being demonstrated for the first time,” Rostec said.
The Su-57E is the export variant of Russia’s Su-57 fifth-generation fighter. The aircraft is designed with reduced radar visibility, high maneuverability, and the ability to employ a broad range of weapons.
The El Alamein International Airshow 2026 will take place at El Alamein International Airport in Egypt from September 8 to 10.
