K-DEX 2026, South Korea’s newly consolidated international ground defense exhibition, is expanding its overseas participation ahead of its opening in December, with national pavilions confirmed from nine countries and applications received for more than 1,700 exhibition booths.
The exhibition will be held from Dec. 8-11 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, northwest of Seoul. It will be the first event held under the K-DEX brand following the integration of the previously separate KADEX and DX KOREA defense exhibitions.
National pavilion participation has been confirmed from the United States, India, Canada, Norway, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Portugal, according to organizers. K-DEX is also continuing engagement with defense organizations, embassies, industry groups, companies and official delegations in other regions.
The event is being positioned as a platform for international defense cooperation as South Korean defense companies expand their relationships overseas through direct exports, local production, technology partnerships, joint development and supply-chain cooperation.
Organizers said the exhibition would bring together overseas companies, Korean manufacturers and government and military stakeholders. The program will include government-to-government, government-to-business and business-to-business meetings, as well as conferences, seminars and networking events.
A National Defense Briefing program is also planned to allow participating countries to present defense priorities, capability requirements, procurement conditions and potential areas for industrial cooperation.
The integration of KADEX and DX KOREA is intended to create a single entry point for international participants seeking to engage with South Korea’s defense industry. Official K-DEX materials describe the event as covering a broad range of defense technologies and weapon systems, alongside business programs including B2B and G2B meetings, technical presentations and networking activities.
The Korea Defense Industry Association, the Association of the Republic of Korea Army and the Korea Defense Industry MICE Association are hosting the exhibition. It is organized by Defense Expo, MindsGround and MESSE ESANG.
K-DEX 2026 is scheduled to take place from Dec. 8-11 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, with additional information on exhibitors, official delegations and the event program expected to be released ahead of the exhibition.
