Boeing receives order for 22 more F-15EX fighters

The U.S. Department of War has awarded Boeing a $2.38 billion contract to manufacture 22 more F-15EX aircraft for the U.S. Air Force, the company shared on Tuesday.

The new order brings the total number of F-15EX fighters under the contract to 120. It also follows Boeing’s recent delivery of F-15EX-22, the first aircraft under the Lot 3 contract.

Boeing plans to deliver Lot 3 aircraft through the remainder of the year and to continue working closely with the U.S. Air Force and the Department of War to increase the F-15EX production rate to two vehicles per month.
